I’m curious. What grade levels would this apply to? There is no way it can be implemented at a high school. My school has 2,000 kids enrolled and a good number of students on a typical day run into the fields to skip class. Some get picked up by a relative in their car and drive off.

Not to mention, the weather. Texas heat has killed people, so for students or teachers to be outside even for an hour is dangerous in some circumstances.

This might work in kindergarten as your article says, but trying to implement this in a high school would be incredibly difficult and many teachers would still resist. We’d still have to wear face masks and many wouldn’t want to in the Texas heat.

Just my opinion.
