…my and return people to work — and it is certainly not about the needs of working parents. Instead, it is part of a process of normalization of the pandemic and our government’s non-response to it. It is about getting the public to accept that we’ve done all we can do to fight the virus and that continued deaths are inevitable.
It's disappointing that this is the case and our Congress refuses to do anything about this. They have the ability to veto Trump and issue aid to the American public, but they'd much rather bail out corporations like the airline industry.
